"If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it."
~ John H. Kennell, MD

My birth doula services are available for all families. I attend births across New York City, within the Tri-state New Jersey area, and parts of Long Island in homebirths, birth centers and in hospitals. I support women who are seeking natural childbirths, planning to have an epidural, vaginal births after a cesarean (VBAC), have conceived with IVF, breech births, considered high-risk, giving birth to twins & triplets, and who are having a planned cesarean birth. I provide non-judgmental and unconditional support. I have experiences in most of the major NYC hospitals and birth centers, with the midwifery and OB practices at each, as well as knowledge of their policies & procedures. I can assist you in planning for the birth experience that you would like.

I offer:

  • 1-2 Prenatal Visits
  • Assistance with Birth Plan, birth related references, preparing for birth, & comfort measures
  • On-Call to answer questions via phone & email once contracted
  • On-Call for labor from week 37-until you give birth
  • Immediate breastfeeding support within 2 hours of birth
  • One Postpartum Visit (with the possibility to book additional postpartum visits)

Every pregnancy is different, and my services are flexible and can be customized to your needs. If you feel you need a doula to provide other forms of assistance, we can discuss further how I may be of help to you. Contact me to set up a complimentary meeting today.
